35. The sounds of 2018

Here are some of my best memories from 2018. It has been a year filled with worderful sounds and musical moments.

For me 2018 started off with a trip to NYC and the nycwjf. I had a wonderful time and heard so much good music.

After my trip to NYC I spent a little time in Oslo listening to more good music and preparing for the Building Bridges event on IJD...

I had to make a short trip to Paris to taste some french pastries and hear these awesome guys play...

... before returning to Oslo for our celebration of International Jazz Day!

But first, a great concert at Victoria National Jazz Scene

The Building Bridges event at IJD was amazing! Thank you Bridges and Seamus Blake for such a wonderful concert!

I also made two trips to Copenhagen this summer to attend the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and to hear the Black Art Jazz Collective.

Furthermore, we had a great BYJAZZ season. Here are a few pics from some of the BYJAZZ events this fall..
